Gotta Knit!

Spring in my backyard.

Was out to brunch on Sunday and saw a little boy in his Sunday best including white patent leather shoes.   When we got home it was off to the creek with Poodles, Inc.   While they romped around,  I stood at the creek bank watching the fat tadpoles swim around.   It seems Spring is offically here.

 

Took a walk around the backyard and was happily surprised how much was in bloom.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

How to Make a Vision Board

One of my most popular past blog posts is Vision Boards: A Quick Story. I wrote it months before the DVD The Secret was released. Then John Assaraf’s story of manifesting his giant mansion by using vision boards (in The Secret) popularized the concept. Many of us, however, have been doing them for years. (I’ve been using them at my women’s retreats for about 5 years now.) And the value of a vision board goes way beyond just mansions and gold watches!

I know I have blogged about this in the past but having looked at my last Vision Board aka Treasure Map I was surprised just how much of it had come to pass. Been spending time this weekend going through magazines, cutting out pictures and gluing. Turns out I am surprising myself with things I want!

Happened to see that a friend had marked this on Facebook. 

 

 

I was completely captivated.  Immediately messaged her to find out where she had gotten this from.  I had mistakenly jumped to the conclusion that she had one of these items in her possession.  

 

She did not.

 

I can not find them in Atlanta.

 

to make matters worse they are not even in the States.

Girly Scarf

Just learned about the Cha-Cha Scarf from Janet of Twisted Knitter.    Which lead me to the lush pink one,  followed by this rich stormy grey one.

 

I've already e-mailed Knitch to see if I can get this yarn!
